I received my EFIAP this day. 25 years late. 🙂

“Lens & Lines” Exhibition, in collaboration with Poetry Festival Singapore and LaSalle College of the Arts.

I’ve greatly enjoyed myself curating this cross-platform art exhibition!

I’m deeply blessed to be awarded a scholarship to do my Master of Arts (Research) in Photography from NTU*!!!

I hope my research will add value to the body of knowledge in photography art!!

*NTU is ranked 11th place in the recent QS World University Ranking.

Wished I could be there to attend the second segment of the Japan-Singapore Cultural Exchange Exhibition!

 

I’m really honored to be invited as a Exhibition Director to the photo festival. I had the opprtunity to curate a series of photos from Singaporean photographers. The group exhibition is titled Jewels of a Nation.

Throughout the various stages of nation buiding in every country, the evolution of our architectural developments in most notable. As nations become affluent and starts their attempt to transform to a developed nation, following closely are the construction of new skyscrapers and unique architectural landmarks that largely characterised the development of any particular nation. These admirable consructions serve not only as milestones but as jewels of a nation.

The curatorial intent focuses on showcasing photographs depicting a selection of our notable landmark buildings. Each of these buildiings represent a specific period in the development of Singapore and they symbolised the unceasing labour of a young nation in the midst of a constantly changing environment.

Happy to be awarded and exhibited in a juried exhibition in New York!! 

I am far from deserving but my friends from the Bangladesh Photographic Society (Operational Member of FIAP in Bangladesh) had recognised my contributions with the global photography community and conferred me with their Honorary Fellowship (Hon.FBPS). I’m most thankful and deeply humbled.

I’ve taken part in only 4 juried exhibitions/salons so far in 2017. I’m really glad and lucky to have received the Best of Show PSA Gold Medal, a Judges Choice and a Salon Bronze Medal.
